Teacher who died in school in front of horrified pupils sitting their GCSEs is pictured as tributes paid to ‘kind lady’

A “WONDERFUL” teacher who tragically died after collapsing in front of pupils as they sat their GCSE exams has been pictured as tributes pour in.
Kings’ School, in Winchester, Hampshire, was locked down after a teacher suffered a “medical incident” just before 9am on Thursday.

An air ambulance was scrambled to the school with a doctor and two advanced paramedics responding and battling to save the educator’s life.
Named locally as Mrs Bamford, the teacher – who was in her 40s – was tragically pronounced dead at the scene despite the best efforts of medics.
Tributes have since flooded in for Mrs Bamford – the school’s head of business and computing – who was remembered as “beautiful and kind.”
Following the tragedy the school’s 1,800 enrolled pupils were sent home early but parents were informed that exams would continue as usual.

Kings’ School remained closed yesterday, with dozens of tributes, flowers, and messages left outside the gates for Mrs Bamford.
Mrs Bamford’s family have been informed of the tragedy and are being supported by specialist officers.
Cops said the death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance confirmed: “An air ambulance team of a doctor and two advanced paramedics were deployed by helicopter to an incident in Winchester at 8.58am on Thursday, May 14.”
